Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Nineward Sudoku, the Nineward website, and related services from StackForge Studios. The company-wide terms are also posted at stackforgestudios.com/terms.
1. The service
Nineward is a Sudoku app with daily puzzles, generated puzzles, teaching hints, notes, solve history, replay, stats, optional cloud sync, audio settings, themes, and free and paid tiers. Features may change as the app moves through testing and launch.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 to use Nineward. If you create an account, you are responsible for your credentials and all activity under that account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Free and Pro access
Free access currently includes the daily puzzle, Easy and Medium generated puzzles, one generated puzzle per day, one teaching hint per puzzle, basic history, and the recent daily archive. Pro is planned at $8.99 per year, with optional monthly pricing if offered, and unlocks the full trainer, archive, replay, stats, friends, cloud sync, theme, and music features. Exact store pricing, taxes, trials, and availability may vary by region and platform.
4. Subscriptions and refunds
When purchases are enabled, mobile subscriptions are billed by Apple App Store or Google Play and entitlement state is synced through RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your platform account before renewal. Refunds for App Store or Play Store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
5. Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer the app, scrape or redistribute service data, bypass quotas, interfere with updates or sync, abuse account systems, manipulate leaderboards, harass other users, or use the service in a way that violates law or platform rules.
6. Friends and competition features
Any friend challenges, leaderboards, or competition features are for entertainment and puzzle training. They do not offer cash prizes, gambling, betting, sweepstakes, or anything with real-world monetary value unless separate official rules are posted.
7. Intellectual property
Nineward's code, design, branding, puzzle presentation, text, art direction, and app experience are owned by StackForge Studios or used with permission. Sudoku rules themselves are not owned by StackForge Studios.
8. Updates and availability
We may ship app updates, over-the-air fixes, feature changes, pricing changes, or service changes as the product evolves. We try to keep the game available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage of every local solve, or support for every device forever.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Nineward is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackForge Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the service.
10. Termination
You may stop using Nineward at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these terms, abused the service, created risk, or used the service unlawfully.
11. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
