Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data, if you sign in: email address, authentication identifiers, display name, and account settings handled through Supabase.

Gameplay data: puzzle starts and completions, daily archive progress, streaks, solve history, mistake counts, hint usage, notes, replay data, statistics, settings, and Pro entitlement state.

Device and diagnostic data: device type, operating system, app version, language, crash logs, performance information, and non-identifying analytics events when analytics or diagnostics are configured.

Purchase data: subscription status and entitlement metadata from Apple, Google, and RevenueCat when paid plans are available. We do not receive or store your card number.

What we do not collect: precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifiers for in-app ad targeting.

2. How we use information

We use data to run the game, save progress, sync eligible account data, restore subscriptions, provide updates, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, measure product quality, and fix bugs. We do not sell personal data.

3. Free and Pro features

Free users can play the daily puzzle, Easy and Medium generated puzzles, one generated puzzle per day, one teaching hint per puzzle, and the recent daily archive. Pro removes those limits and unlocks harder difficulties, unlimited generated puzzles and hints, replay, advanced stats, friends and competition features, cloud sync, premium themes, and the full music library.

4. Third-party services

• Supabase for authentication, database storage, and cloud sync.
• Expo / EAS for app builds, over-the-air updates, and related delivery tools.
• RevenueCat for subscription entitlement verification once purchases are enabled.
• Apple App Store and Google Play for app distribution and mobile billing.
• Crash reporting or analytics providers only when configured for diagnostics.

5. Ads and tracking

Nineward does not currently use forced in-app ads or sell data to ad networks. If we add ads or rewarded placements later, we will update this policy and the app disclosures before collecting or sharing data for that purpose.

6. Retention and deletion

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Account and cloud-sync data is kept while your account is active. You can request account deletion from the app when available or by emailing hello@stackforgestudios.com. We process deletion requests within 30 days unless law requires a limited record.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data. Email us with the subject line "Privacy Request" to exercise those rights.

8. Children

Nineward is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will review it promptly.

9. Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards such as TLS for data in transit and platform secure storage for session tokens. StackForge Studios is based in the United States, and service providers may process information in the United States or other countries.
